The super modern and extravagant cities in the Gulf states are all build by slaves. They go to the Gulf states for work, from the Philippines, India, Bangladesh and places like that and the Arabs then confiscate their passports and often refuse to pay them. They're housed in squalor and become prisoners with now way to leave. The US embassy in Baghdad was the same. I've also read articles about fishing ships, in Asia (mainly Thailand) that enslave the guys who go out to work on them.
