It is for yourself so you don’t hang onto to the anger and it hurts you. It’s to protect yourself. You let it go as best as you can. But forgiving doesn’t mean that there is no penalty. No justice. You can forgive a person and still have them incarcerated. Not let them roam free hurting others. And you don’t ever have to be around them or speak to them ever again. |
