He is not from Idaho apparently. The surname Kohberger seems to be of Austrian or German origin and it’s rare in the US (non existent in Idaho and only somewhat common in Upstate New York and Chicagoland area).
Poconos borders New York State. I think Bryan has ties to the Northeastern part of the US.
