I’d like to know if there were two weapons based on X & E having wounds based on edged weapon for X and sharp force injuries for E K & M have visible stab wounds X wounds found like a knife but they don’t state stab wounds E wounds sound different Sharp force injuries can be subcategorized as follows: Incised wounds Stab wounds Chop wounds Atypical wounds (atypical weapons, combined incised and stab wounds) [ link to www.pathologyoutlines.com (secure)] In the search warrant for his apartment they Included these examples they were looking for…. Knives, sheaths, or other sharp tools, including any dagger, dirk, or sword…. Quoting: ~kpm~ Sharp force injury typically describes stab wounds, possibly made with a chopping motion [edit] Well defined point injury. (Usually) Sharp edge sort of implies more cutting/slashing. Either can be caused by a knife. They are sort of interchangeable but not exactly. It sort of makes me think the sharp forced injuries were first, being possibly more precise. The cutting slashing may have been due to victims fighting back, or a desire to disfigure the victim. But that's just a guess. I don't see how the dog wasn't trying to alert the entire neighborhood with its caretaker being assaulted in her personal space. Either the dog recognised the assailant(s) or someone heard it. My dogs have woken me up at four a.m. on new years day, after partying all night before. It's really hard to believe nobody heard anything. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74090579 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74090579 The dog was heard on the neighbors ring or outside video but I can’t believe DM didn’t hear it barking, she heard what she thought was Kaylee playing with him, she didn’t hear him barking? Quoting: ~kpm~ The dog barking was probably what DM considered hearing KG playing with her dog.
