Knives, sheaths, or other sharp tools, including any dagger, dirk, or sword…. Sharp force injury typically describes stab wounds, possibly made with a chopping motion [edit] Well defined point injury. (Usually) Sharp edge sort of implies more cutting/slashing. Either can be caused by a knife. They are sort of interchangeable but not exactly. It sort of makes me think the sharp forced injuries were first, being possibly more precise. The cutting slashing may have been due to victims fighting back, or a desire to disfigure the victim. But that's just a guess. I don't see how the dog wasn't trying to alert the entire neighborhood with its caretaker being assaulted in her personal space. Either the dog recognised the assailant(s) or someone heard it. My dogs have woken me up at four a.m. on new years day, after partying all night before. It's really hard to believe nobody heard anything. The dog was heard on the neighbors ring or outside video but I can’t believe DM didn’t hear it barking, she heard what she thought was Kaylee playing with him, she didn’t hear him barking? The dog barking was probably what DM considered hearing KG playing with her dog.
