Those 2 things seem to be the common demonstrator of every plausible theory around.
She is being protected fro some reason.
Could be that she has family in law enforcement or it could be that the rumor about her being trans is real and arresting her/him and no matter which jail they toss her/him in, there will be outrage and they are doing what they can to put off arresting her/him as long as they can.

Perhaps that is why x was getting a dd, was someone sending her food too possibly drugged? Did they test any of that?
