Quoting: Super Straight Splinterhead I had a 73 FJ55. I regret selling it 25 years ago. That thing would go anywhere. Interesting brakes on those. 8 wheel cylinders, all different part numbers. Don't get them mixed up! Its a pig thing,55 mph is like surfing ,yes it belongs in the mountains, rooting stumps. |

I've done nothing to this car except change fluids on schedule. Brakes are even still original. Bother batteries are still original. The interior still looks like new. Every negative thing I've hard about the Prius turned out to be BS. |

Plan to buy something else not as old when market drops this years :) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45422806 Dont care for high end vehicles anymore. I agree, but I LIKE MY TOYS. I worked my fvcking ASS off to get what I have. That's nice Thanks Bro! Thank you. But I’m a bit of a jack wad. But 2023 is the year I am being forced to shape up my attitude. I was told that the little puck could explode and depending on the rotation it could come up and through. I looked at the bell housing and wondered how that could even happen under these unique set of circumstances. My burn out was good. Really good. When I staged and the tree came into play, I went up and started popping off the two step [know what I mean?]. My foot slipped off the clutch and I red lighted. Because of the shock to the puck and flywheel, the puck exploded. I have it in a shadow box one of my girl friends made for me in the shop. It nicked the side of my shoe and went up into the switch panels. I love the R8. Cheers |

Quoting: Obi Won Yes it's a 2008, but I waited 5 years for delivery. I got it from Holbert's Porsche / Audi in PA. I paid $135,000 but a famous football player offered me 4 times the price. I declined. It's one of my favorite toys. Pic is my avatar. True. And prices of houses for an average working person is even more sickening. We live in a sick world controlled by sick greedy criminals. |
