The reason you know it's a contrived criminal excersize is IF "they" really cared about human life and IF there was a genuine problem with a reapitory virus sweeping the world and killing a significant percentage of the population they would be handing out Ivermectin as a profilactic.

The 3CL Protease Inhibitor function of Ivermectin prevents infection by blocking the protein cleavage required for respitory viruses, like caronaviruses, from infecting human cells. It won't "heal" or "make you better", simply prevent infection or further infection if you didn't start taking it until you were already sick. However sick you already are before taking Ivermectin will have to run it's course. The earlier you take Ivermectin the more effective it is.
