Is Bryan Kohberger being framed?

Online sleuths are speculating about whether accused Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger used an alias to discuss the case in social media discussion groups.

A Facebook user with the name Pappa Rodger made numerous comments in a group about the savage murders of four University of Idaho students, even noting key details of the crime.

Jennifer Coffindaffer, a former FBI agent, said she found one of the comments particularly interesting, tweeting a November screenshot of one of the Pappa Rodger’s posts which read, “Of the evidence released, the murder weapon has been consistent as a large fixed blade knife. This leads me to believe they found the sheath.”

Authorities did find a knife sheath at the murder scene, but its existence was not made public until after Kohberger’s arrest last week.

Very first thing that I thought after hearing about it

Cops had the spotlight on them so they probably put their fingers on the scale for the first person of interest who fit some circumstantial evidence.

Hard to say. His apparent forum posting and his phone whereabouts paint a picture against him. But what is really weird is the blood coming out of the house walls. Something very fishy about that. How could blood deep through an exterior wall? Not saying it couldn't happen. And his looks, like a provocateur from police authorities. I just don't trust anything on tv anymore.

What is his Nationality ?

There is no way he is a college student and only young 20 something

Agreed on the story not adding up. But his questioning on Reddit of people who committed crimes was odd... and even they said that he was an odd duck, and a creeper.

No they got cellphone pings of his location during the crimes, he obviously did it, The CCTV cameras capture his car driving there too. He even went back to the scene of the crime at 9am, 5 hours after they occurred I'm guessing because he forgot the sheath to the knife which police got DNA off of.

Lots of serial killers had a stellar record and were upstanding members of their community. John Wayne Gacy also met these criteria at one point in time.

While it doesn't prove guilt, I get creeper vibes from the guy.

3:29 AM to 4:04 AM - The white Elantra drives past the 1122 King Road house 3 times.

4:04 AM (approx) - The White Elantra drives past the King Road house a 4th time, attempts to park, then goes down Queen road, beside the King Road house.

4:20 AM - The White Elantra leaves the area of the King Road house at high speed.

"Next" - The White Elantra is observed driving southbound on Walenta Drive. (Police believe it left the area via "Conestoga Drive".

4:48 AM (approx) - BK's Phone is turned on again. It is travelling on highway 95 south of Moscow, near Blaine, Idaho.

4:50 AM to 5:26 AM - BK's Phone is traveling south on highway 95 to Genesee, ID, then traveling west towards Uniontown, and then north back into Pullman, WA.

9:00 AM - BK's Phone leaves the area of his apartment and travels towards Moscow, Idaho.


9:12 AM to 9:21 AM - BK's Phone is in the area of the 1122 King Road house in Moscow.


9:21 AM to 9:32 AM - BK's Phone travels back to Pullman, WA.


9:32 AM - BK's Phone is in the area of his apartment in Pullman, WA.

Sounds like the phone did it.

They said they picked up cell phone pings 12 times by the neighborhood of the killings over the few months preceding the crime. Sounds like he was planning it and scoping them out.

I thought this at first also, but the DNA they got from the trash thrown out in Pennslyvania. Bryan was seen with gloves on throwing the trash out in the neighbors bin at 4am, which the FBI retrieved to get the DNA match off of the button from the knife sheathe which came back with a 99.999% DNA match in the affidavit.

He apparently applied as an intern to Pullman police, highlighting his interest in 'cloud based forensics'. If this is the case then why the heck was he driving his own Elentra to the crime...surely he'd be aware of all the cloud based video doorway vids(many which pick up traffic)?

For BK to have been setup, someone stole his car, his phone, and his knife. But then returned it to him so he could go to Albertsons. Then stole it back so they could go back to the murder scene, and returned it again. As well as his cellphone. All without him noticing.

That's so unlikely I can't even fathom it. BK did it, he's a total psycho.

What is his background? News media is silent except for his criminology background and heroine addiction and that he used to be fat. Nothing else.

Framed, what a moron. With the attention this case had no police department would dare to issue an arrest warrant without being absolutely sure that that is the suspect.

How could they process the DNA that quickly. Doesn't that take weeks to get results. Also. Is that even legal for them to do? Seems fishy.

All the cell phone pinging seems weird. Guy was after his PHD in criminology. Pinging cells was probably extensively covered in his freshman year. A guy at his level would have left the phone at home
