He's pushing people away from god being confrontational. Calling them enemies of God may be technically correct but won't get them to reconsider their life choices.

Unfortunately they might be a lost cause. I think his work illustrates the stiff necked attitude of those who would see america destroyed.

Maybe he’s not been called to make them reconsider their life choices. Perhaps they are so reprobate that he’s been called to harden them even further in their sins.

God doesn’t love everyone and want them to be saved, you know… recall this discussion between Christ and His disciples:

And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. —Matt. 13:10-13

His answer could be boiled down to, “Lest they understand, and be saved”.
