Legit as far as I know.

It's an anti death penalty org, just like MADD is a prohibitionist org. The wrongfully convicted are used to try and stop the death penalty for the truly guilty and make it too expensive to put anyone to death. Except you will see the same people talk about 'moral luck' when justifying why it is that people who don't do something wrong get caught up in their legal system. They love violent criminals, period.

They are legit and they do wonderful work. Look up the % of innocent people in jail simply by what would have to be.

These guys generally do with with DNA but look it up and reach out to them if you know of a case that you believe innocent.

Every time they release an innocent man my heart flutters.

I think it started as a class project at a University. The Professor that started it would use various notorious cases to teach legal investigation type classes. It was and has been very successful at freeing truly innocent individuals and they have done so with hard evidence and DNA evidence, so yes they are legit

Scott is an obvious scapegoat.

What's so horrible about setting an innocent person free?

Who said anyone cared about guilt?

We can desperately use an organization like that here in Canada.

That's the problem. They don't care.

I propose the death penalty for anyone who obstructs justice the way it was in the Scott Peterson case.
