It's about hands, and what it means with our fingers given their particular lengths. Quoting: cosmicgypsy My right hand, the index and ring fingers are the same length, but my left hand, the ring finger is longer....they don't have anything about that in the vid, but I'm thinking it has to do with the two differing brain hemispheres. How are your fingers?.... BTW, I'm a fan girl of Dr. Huberman. He's a neuroscientist, and tenured professor at Stanford. So intelligent, so helpful, putting himself and what he knows out here for us. Here's a link to his website. There are a lot of interesting podcasts there-- [link to hubermanlab.com (secure)] [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] My left ringer finger is bigger then my pointing finger What does that mean? |

It’s about the testosterone. And a woman’s ring finger is supposed to be shorter than the pointer finger. We are opposites. It doesn’t always work that way. But most of the time it does. I rate about 4 of my fingers then ok, hell ain't gonna lose a bunch of fingers over a thing like this, there's spare jars of fingers and rackings of ears and liquid vats of leg munching teeth-eaters. There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

And I still don't know what that means. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80640553 According to the Stanford professor, you were exposed to natural androgens during your mom's pregnancy which causes people to be more logical and excel in science and engineering like men. At least they no longer are claiming that you are a man, if you are a woman with those finger traits. I also have that and I can assure you I gave birth to children. |

This is you're right hand only. Synopsis: Higher testosterone means the index finger will be shorter, higher female androgen exposure results in the ring finger being longer, and a higher 2d4d ratio shows more vulnerability to developing alzheimers, but lower 2d4d (not to be confused with difference in finger lengths) from higher androgen levels, preserved cognition. Longer ring finger = problem solving, longer index = solitary, goal forming, maybe more introverted. Equal length = diplomatic. |
