The Coming Catastrophe, Days or Decades?


Scientists tell us that the earth's crust move slowly over thousands of years, modern catastrophist say it can happen in a day or days.
Which is right? or are they both right a little?

I believe that we can find flaws in both, and some truth in both.
Let's take a look at some of the theories, Hapgood, Thomas, Randal Carlson, Ben Davidson, Dr. Laviolette, and Gram Hancock have some great theories
All saying that the world as we know it will end quickly, mainstream science says they are wrong, even though they can point to past evidence
of extreme climate change abruptly.

But will we see a 2-mile-high tsunami? will the continents drift wildly for days and end up 90 degrees from where they are now?
I am starting to think the process may take a few decades instead of days. I started doing some math today when I found a new (old but new to Me)

I looked at my location and put in 130 meters or 426.5 feet (the amount of sea level rise if every glacier on earth melted plus a little extra to be sure) and this is what I found.

Then I started looking at the Mississippi river watershed (1.83 million square miles) [link to www.bing.com (secure)] and did some math, it would take over 607.5 trillion cubic feet of water just to cover it in 1 foot of water.
multiply that x 5280' twice for a 2 mile high tsunami. Thats more water than I can even imagine, and coming a 1000 miles per hour? If that had happened 12000 years ago it would wipe every bit of topsoil away and cover the land in salt.
Nobody could grow food for years. Thats is why I think it would need to happen in decades at least people could move with the changing conditions.

Radal Carlson says that ripples in the sand were caused by massive waves, yet we see that as sand flows in and out with the tides a ripple effect is caused and are caused by wind in the Sahara.
