People who go looking for Bigfoot, like people who go looking for UFOs, are liable to get much, MUCH more than they bargained for. In either case, you are not dealing with physical entities, but with dark spiritual forces that do not wish humanity well. Trying to make contact with them is playing with fire.

I’ve studied all aspects of Fortean phenomenon over many decades, and my advice, derived from hard, unpleasant experience, is that if you go out intentionally searching for these things, you had best start by wetting your pants, because if you go looking for them, they might find you.
