Let's say the US has the most modern bus with 50 people in it driving at 80 mph towards a 500 foot high cliff.

Russia has a 20 year old bus, still carries 50 people, also headed towards the same cliff at 80 mph.

Moments before the cliff both drivers attempt to stop 50 feet before the cliff by slamming on the breaks....

Both busses unable to stop at this point fly over the cliff.

Both busses slam into the ground at the bottom of the cliff and burst into flames killing everyone.
