Today I made beef Pot Roast and literally drank the gravy

In My Restaurants I would make GUMBO with Cheddar Cheese & Jalapeno Cornbread.

All the Louisianans would ask me If I make Roux for my Gumbo and I would say yes of course, but I also put in Okra.

They would say "Okra" in Gumbo? I would laugh and tell them "Gumbo is "Soup Thickened with Okra", the would not believe me so in every restaurant, I would post on the wall in a frame, the definition of Gumbo.

When you find your dooms day princess, you need to get out of the city. Do your peeps need electricity?

If not, I would live in a hogan or car on some land rather than the city. Collect some of bidens water. Build up from there.

Get you some bulk corn at a local co-op (make sure you mix it with a tiny amount of juniper ash so that it is digestible and u don't get pellagra)

We grew up raising them and My Grandmother would walk amongst the Meat-Chickens lean down and grab 2 at a time and ring their necks. Then release them to run and flop around until dead.

Then over to the Stump to chop of their heads and bleed them out, then pull feathers and within 3 hours, we had the best Friend Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy with cream corn and an Egg-Custard Pie for dessert.

Egg layers are fun, because you get to know them and listen to the "Egg-Song" every morning.

The Meat Chickens you take good care of them but ultimately you will be eating them .... so ...

Yes, I know the feeling, it's hard to slaughter the animals you raise. But in a SHTF Scenario These are the ones who make it. I taught My Kiddos how grow gardens and raise livestock and they understand were Meat comes from.

In todays World, everything comes from the Grocery Store so people are never exposed to the reality's of how meat is processed.

Hen isn't laying, its meat - but they are only good for stew and broth at that point.

Yep, their meat gets a little tough and stringy. Also Broth / Stock = Gravy Starter .... lol

I do a very simple diet. Keto & Carnivore.

Example: Today was Pot Roast, Beef & Vegetables, tomorrow is Eggs & Bacon with sliced Avocado's and Tomatoes. I dont do bread and starchy veggies. Lot of Steamed Broccoli and carrots, Cauliflower and Carrots and Green beans.

I switch off daily. Every other day is Bacon and Eggs and then every other day is Steak/Pork/Chops/Chicken/Fish & Vegetables.

I have not had a soda or any sugar in almost 2 years.

I hand grind my own coffee beans and drink it Black. I hand squeeze a a bag of lemons and make a Gallon of "Lemon Water" and drink that all day.

At night, like right now I am drinking Lemon water and sipp'in on Bourbon "neat"
