We start at 3:15am and work our way backwards, for time on target 3:10am, time to target 15 minutes / 2:55am, Wheels up 2:50am, Mount-Up. 2:35am So anyways, I would literally look at my Joe's Lolly-Gagging as time was ticking away and I would make eye contact and tap my watch and say Tick-Tock. As a Joke an Older NCO Buddy of mine Loudly referred to me as, "Hey Tick-Tock" what's the time check-Over?, and everyone laughed and thought it was funny and the nick-name sort of stuck.
