Yeah, not many women are going to put up with that, unless they were born to it. To cast a wider net you should put in solar and running water. Electricity is a huge survival advantage - every calorie don't expend carrying water is a calorie you don't need to grow or raise. You don't need to go nuts with it but there are some tasks at which electricity excels. Old school animals for plowing -- that is tough... The ability to get crops in quickly and at the right times is also a huge survival advantage - even if you have to keep a tank of diesel on hand to run the tractor.
I understand the old school appeal - and learning/having those skills to fall back upon is awesome, but I don't think I would give up modern survival advantages as options.

I'm a one man woman. Do not have casual sex. Learned how to cook on a wood burning stove at the hunting cabin from my grand mother. I am holistic. God has provided us with all we need on this lovely earth. Right on. I shall pin you in my personals also. I am retired massage therapist of thirty years doing massage. Not such a great retirement but I really just can't keep helping others. It's time for me. I graduated in 1979 from green River Wyoming. A first date is rabbit hunting there. Not even kidding. Love big trucks and fast cars and guns and animals and food and not necessarily in that order.

I had a Girlfriend out in Van Alstyne, TX, we were out on a dirt road (Thats where young folks go for privacy) at the time I dipped copenhagen. We kissed and in One Tongue Swoop she stole my Dip right from My Lip and told me to get My Own.

She could Fry Chicken and and had a lot of the same qualities as you. I have not seen that in a woman since the 1970's.

Rabbit Hunting.

My Step-Mother Growing up was a "Hatfield" of the Hatfield & McCoy's" Feud. She was so Country. When I would go Hunting, I would get whatever Nature provided, Rabbits, Squirrels, Quail, Dove, Meadow Lark, Ducks. And she would fry them all up and we would feast.

I was born in 1966, Got My GEd. in 1981 at 15 years of age and started Adult life. I joined the Army in 1988, and deployed everywhere and got Full-Medical Retirement (P.D.R.L. - Permanent Disability Retired List) in 2004.

I had many Publicly Traded Companies on NASDAQ, I am a Restaurateur, Gas-Oil-Gold-Silver Miner, DOD Asset, I created My own Crypto Currencies, now fully Retired Full Time Dad.

Yes and always put jalapenos in cornbread. I think we could produce an amazing gumbo. I have no children. Just my cat. Her twin brother died this September after spending every day of his life next to me. That broke me. I know have his sister she is ok better then me over the loss cos she has me all to herself now. I already knew about that kill. A combat soldier told me a remorseful incident one time, years ago. I knew I received that knowledge for a purpose.

I lost my Cat "Crypto" 1 year ago. I was making a video for my "Coin-Holders" and I had just adopted her the day before and she jumped up on the table and walked across the screen and everybody wanted to know her name. So I decided since I was making a video for my Crypto-Coin Holders that I would name her "Crypto". She was a Black Bombay cat. So sweet. Every night she slept on my chest under the covers. I miss that.

I am My Own Doctor. I only eat whole foods I cook. I never eat fast food or drink soda's. I have not been sick since 1985 and then just only one day.

My GrandMother was a Hospice Nurse "Live-In" type. I was so proud of her for what she did, taking care of people at the ends of their lives.

. This is Ivan. The one passed. . He was 65 almost in human years. On my 60th birthday, my cats were 60 also. It seems so long ago now, but has only been about 18 months.

I Remember having a "Crush" on Shirley Temple way back in the 1970's .... lol

I can relate to all of those words.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
