Not to Brag, but in the Merengue Pie World, I am known as "Stiff Peak"s, ... my secret? .... Don't over mix the merengue. Then I pull them High and Slow with a whisk.

If the Peaks are too tall, I use aluminum foil to cover them once toasted and continue to bake so the rest of the merengue toast evenly.



I make Great baked Chocolate & Vanilla Pies too ;-)

Not yet, I have bought land in West Texas as a secondary back up TEOTWAWKI but 100% plan to SHTF scenario here in The Florida River Areas.

It's kind of funny, when I first started talking to my GLP guy and we decided to swap photos, he sent me a very serious face pic with no smile. Very handsome. A few days later he sent me another pic, also not smiling. I texted back "why so serious?" and then he sent me the cutest goofy face pic. I loved that.

I know at this point it's none of anyone's business but Rewind's, but it would be great to see you smile.

Whenever my daughter is interested in a guy I ask to see his pic. Specifically one where he's smiling.

I know that Rewind has a beautiful smile. I've seen it.

I use onions literally every day. I always planted them in my gardens. Basically I just let them sit in the ground longer, it my be climate issue that works for Me, I live in Florida.

Living in Florida, we get lots of really good rain, so this is why I only garden with "Raised Beds" so they can drain away excess water.

Nothing worse than watching a ground garden rot with too much water. "Ground Gardeners: need to build irrigation trench so excess water can flow away to a catchment pond or somewhere else besides pooling up in the garden,

Raised Beds worked for Me. ;-)

Nothing wrong with using onions on a daily basis, they are really quite good for you! I should be eating more of them. I've been including green and red peppers in my diet. I've grown to really like them.

Sounds like Florida is the best place to be for the SHTF scenario, very good climate 12 months around. And raised beds are the only way to go, otherwise your work in being done in vain, cuz it'll all just wash away. Did you mention how much square footage in bedding you currently have?

I made 17 ... 4x8 Raised Beds Basically each vegetable got its own bed. I also did Hanging baskets 20 of them equally spaced, of them above the Rabbits open pen to give them shade and protect from Large Wing Predator birds.

This was at my old place. I am getting ready to "Re-build" my life in a Permanent Self-Sustaining TEOTWAWKI Property on the River.

Hence the reason for this thread :-)
