My Step-Mother Growing up was a "Hatfield" of the Hatfield & McCoy's" Feud. She was so Country. When I would go Hunting, I would get whatever Nature provided, Rabbits, Squirrels, Quail, Dove, Meadow Lark, Ducks. And she would fry them all up and we would feast.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

She is so cute. So funny about Cats, they love getting inside of bags and boxes. One morning I walked into my kitchen and noticed Crypto in the Bread Cubbard and then I notice she was Cat-Loafing and a Fresh loaf of bread that had compressed down to about 1/4 inch.

I just looked at her and the bread and asked her if she was comfy, she kind of nodded "Yes", so I said ok and poured myself a cup of coffee and left her there on the loaf of bread that she ruined ....

Naw. Not ruined. I would have made bread pudding or baked cream cheese and apple french toast from it and named it Crypto Loaf with love.

I smoke my Briskets for usually 15-17 hours. I only use wood.

I did smoked cheese before.. and I love smoking all meats and then making taco's. Love tacos. Use only cabbage. Rarely mess with lettuce.

Now I'm hungry . Dang my luck.

I am an animal lover and always have several pets at a time.
Also, I have never bought Cat food or Dog food ... lol

They eat what I eat and they love it. My pets usually live 17-19 years eating real food.

I miss all of them.

Julia Child lived with My Aunt and Uncle the last 10 years of her life, so I cook All of her recipes.
