This is exactly what I was thinking. There was an incident a few weeks back about a commercial flight to Hawaii that had encountered some turbulence that was so severe, it had caused serious injuries to close to 50+ passengers and crew. Most were head injuries, contusions and some broken limbs. After reading about it, I instantly remembered where I had seen it before.
