Pretty leaves and harvest add you need or just in the fall, grind and dry.
Save a few planted roots indoors near a bright window during winter so you have more to grow in spring or just buy more Asian market roots.

About 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. My LDL's and HDL's were all out of whack. I was developing diabetes and was borderline...

I started taking Fermented Turmeric which is more easily digestible. I added black pepper for more absorption. My recent blood test (4 months ago) showed that my Liver Enzymes were in the normal range. My LDL's and HDL's were all in normal range. My blood sugar levels had dropped to 6.1 and I lost weight. In another 2 months, I will have another blood test to see if the levels have changed for better or for worse. I did go off my diet during the holidays...

Turmeric really helps me. I have inflammation from a ankle and leg break. If I do not take some turmeric for a day or three, it swells up a bit and I get other aches and pains.

Fuck taking products that are untested and basically unregulated.

I don't trust Hashmeet and his farm next to the pharmaceutical slag dumping grounds that used to be a nuclear waste dumping ground that is also contaminated with mercury, lead and PFAS to grow me pure turmeric.

As long as you are getting them fresh and from trusted sources, they might be worth something.

Make sure your Turmeric is 3rd party tested. There is a problem with lead contamination in cheaper samples.

Stick with big pharma. They have your best interest at heart.

Buy tumeric at an asian market. Pennies on the dollar compared to the capsules. Buy your own capsules if you do not like the taste.

Optimally, mix tumeric with ghee or coconut oil. Coconut oil is very high in caprylic acid. Use it as a food.

Both are very easy to grow. I planted ginger and turmeric and they have taken over one of my flower beds. No complaints, beautiful tropical leaves, and all I need is right out back.
