They're not even very good photos, really, from a photographer's perspective.

One gallery had two kids, one with hands on the butt, next slide a naked kid crouched down, next slide an evil looking goat, next slide - a kid drinking something resembling blood.

It's not what they're doing, it's the symbolism behind it.

ugh, gross. The one child is naked, looking sad and has a black eye. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out these photos appeal to certain types of people - I wonder how many of the people who purchase her 'art' are registered offenders. Very disgusting.

I’m not going to that link, I’ll take your word for it, but why would you have a picture like that in your house unless it was you as a kid or your kids playing around, joking around or whatever? That is strange. Some random kid stuffed in a Rubbermaid like that and you put it on your wall as art?

OP is not the only one that finds her works pornographic. Her work was exhibited in London where many in attendance were so shocked/disgusted, they called the police to report the 'child pornography' (also referred to as "art"):

How could anyone be comfortable purchasing those “works of art” and be comfortable hanging them on a wall to admire?

Not sure this is even the same Feathery from last year, smh.

The biggest complaint is that her photos are garbage. They don't 'capture the innocence of childhood' or bring on any kind of nostalgic sense because the photos themselves are poor. Her best photos are landscapes and old candy.

Her work seems varied, but I would suggest that it does contain deeper meaning. Artists try to convey meaning with their work. If you can look past the poor quality of the pictures, you can see she focuses on some consistent themes. The one that sticks out to me is the series titled "ripeness is all" which focuses on how fresh fruit is beautiful and everything else is rot. And don't get me started on the tongue photos. Gah!

The title of the series is "Sweet is the Swamp". That is disturbing given the questionable content of the photos. The one photo has a child with a black eye. That's disturbing.
