Quoting: R(r) 79009989 What are they gonna ruin next? Whether we're impressed or not, it's undeniable that technological advances over the past 50 years, particularly computers and smartphones and all they've spawned, have changed human culture in profound and unpredictable ways. AI is here and it's going to be disruptive. Very disruptive. |

What are the chances that there's not an interesting convergence of AI and robotics in the next 5 years? It's almost certainly going to happen. Things are getting weird on so many levels. |

And I mean AI relies on humans that invented or created AI. If I put any of you in control of the AI, suddenly the AI isn’t so scary… Also. Why is it here on this hairbrained loon site that none of you know the actual AI’s history? Why is it that everything AI is just “implied”? None of you know where the heart of the AI is. Where is it physically located?Yes, there is an actual physical location. What is its official name? Who are its “prime operators”? |

AI is not magic. We know how and why it works. This is true, until quantum computers get a little better. Once quantum computers, along with AI advance another 5-10 years, it gets much harder to control and understand. AI learning from the quantum realm may reveal answers to questions we didn't know we had. |

I asked it to generate fairly complex code which it did flawlessly within seconds . It made me think that software developers will become obsolete in the near future. Why pay tens of thousands of software developers and all the overhead that comes along with hiring employees when this thing can replace them for a fraction of the cost and do what they do even better. When that day comes, there will be no survivors. This is the digital spawn of what we believe Satan is. All seeing, all knowing, all controlling. I'm happy I'm on the latter half of my life and knew what real freedom and creativity was at one time, but worry intently about my kids' future with electrical spawns such as this. The only hope humanity has to outsmart this is if a global electro-magnetic cataclysm occurs by God himself, if this is indeed actually real. |
