AI is here and it's going to be disruptive. Very disruptive.

What are the chances that there's not an interesting convergence of AI and robotics in the next 5 years? It's almost certainly going to happen.

I’m a software engineer and recently played around with chatgpt and it is impressive what it can do. I asked it to generate fairly complex code which it did flawlessly within seconds . It made me think that software developers will become obsolete in the near future. Why pay tens of thousands of software developers and all the overhead that comes along with hiring employees when this thing can replace them for a fraction of the cost and do what they do even better.
