I missed hearing his voice my whole life. It is kind of heartbreaking. It’s hard to imagine a parent giving up their kids for someone else. But then there is a lack of love sometimes. It would be hard to forgive. He sounds like a pathetic and weak person. Anyway. Your choice. Wonder if he just wants you to take care of him in his old age now that he doesn’t have anyone else. He may just be a user. Make sure you are in his will if you stay to help him. He could kick you to the curb again. |

I would invite my dad and my brother over for Thanksgiving and cook for them. I know it really filled a hole in their lives until they moved on to have significant others.
