I almost got raped when I was 17 in my senior year in high school.

I had gone to a party with my friend Lynn who was dating a guy who hung out with some black guys in from our school that I didn't know very well. I opened the car door and ran out, and they ran out after me. Thankfully there were lots of trees and bushes there and it was dark. I ran to a spot in the brush and found a good spot to hide, and crouched down. They spent some time looking for me, then after a few minutes they gave up and went back to the car and took off. Lynn's boyfriend didn't even try to stop them when they started grabbing me in the car.

After the coast was clear and they were gone, I went into my house.

I would pass them in the halls in school, and I hated them for what they did or tried to do to me. I hated Lynn's boyfriend too because he was a coward and did not try to stop them.

I'm sure had I been drunk, I would have been gang raped.
