LION AND THE LAMB


Great example actually.


When we think of a real apex predator we think of a lion.

Naturally, it would be even more amazing if wild lions lied down with lambs...and didn't eat them. (It's probably happened though.)


But...to a shepherd in ancient Israel, wolves were a more common occurence -- and workplace hazard.


So, it kind of makes sense that the text actually reads "wolf" and not "lion".


If someone else has some good examples, I will look at them and try to seriously analyze them.


I may not agree with you, but I will try to see WHY (plausibly) some people so badly misremember these passages and why the faulty memories tend to get passed down in the popular culture.
