I walked a very thin line because of my profession. I had others try to make me feel bad. Including family that treated me poorly, one group the relationship remains strained.

I spoke at a service club in the beginning. I drove an hour away to stand with nurses in solidarity, on the street, against the mandate.


I had a level of stress like no other since I live in a State that had serious requirements on my business. Never forced any employee to get it. Excepted every exemption and paid for the required weekly testing. It took a financial toll on my business.

About 45% of approximately 200 employees didn't take it. I thought it would be higher. Now I watch as the ongoing COVID positives are always the vaccinated staff.

I did my part. I have no regrets.
