Direct TV and Dish always pissed me off.
You would sign up for a year's service at some reasonable rate. then on the 13th month they would add $100 more a month to the bill. Then you had to challenge them and open negotiations to get a reasonable rate again.
What sort of retard thought that rewarding your repeat customers with a massive rate hike was a good idea? Treat your repeat customers worse than a new customer?

I had to hang up on them multiple times to get my billing straightened out. Ridiculous! Quoting: Dr. 307-10 I dropped them all about 4 years ago. Between Roku and Over the air reception, I have all the TV I care to waste my time watching. If there is something you need to add, it is only a few dollars a month for a targetted service like Hulu or whatever.
