Damar Hamlin shut down a bizarre internet conspiracy that surfaced after he suffered a cardiac arrest during a game against Cincinnati Bengals earlier this month.

He was spotted in public for the first time since the incident last Sunday as he cheered for the Bills during the playoff game against Bengals. The player took the opportunity to poke fun at the rumour that he died on the field on 2 January by sharing a picture of himself standing in front of his own mural. His Instagram post was captioned “clone”, with a ninja emoji.

If he died for good on that field (more difficult to hide), then someone else went to the hospital in Cincinnati.

The more likely, or easier to accomplish, scenario is that when he got ‘transferred’ to Buffalo, he died. Fewer witnesses to pay off and/or threaten. Likely the ambulance that moved him was staffed by NFL ‘black bag’ operatives. His family has been WELL compensated by the league (with a generous grant by Pfizer.)

Hamlin came from nothing and was dirt poor. His family will relocate far from Pittsburgh and Buffalo and essentially place themselves in witness protection…happy with the payday. More money than they’ll ever see, even if Hamlin had continued to play.

They will only be able to continue the theater for so long, mind you. In the football ‘dead zone’ between the draft and the start of practice, they’ll officially announce his death. Probably sold as ‘complications’ from his heart arrest. It’ll quickly be forgotten.
