Y'all, I live in Memphis about 10 minutes from where Nichols was beaten. Im telling you, shit isn't going to pop off here. Memphis is thug af but its not like everyone thinks. Lived here 47 years. My city is no worse than say St. Louis or New Orleans. Again, I grew up here. And because of that half of my friends are black. This city has always been 50% black give or take 5% depending on the year. I have a sister that married a black guy that's fantastic and he's a good father and a good husband. It's only a small percentage that are really ghetto. Everybody else just wants to live their life and raise their kids and work. I am sad to see this awesome City in a spotlight like this.
