Advice from an Experienced Mexican Bizguy on Preppers Seeking a Bug-Out Spot in Mexico

I used to work with some latino people and they are a lot of fun when you're having a margarita after work but they'll stab you in the back with the boss. They stick together, and they don't particularly like white people. This is natural, races sticking together is very deeply programmed into the DNA.

I moved as far away from the southern border of the US as I could get.

I will never cross into Mexico again if I can possibly avoid it. Bad things happen there.

Yeah, I checked out Mexico as a bug out spot for 6 months and this is definitely the case. Place is a parasite infested shithole. Nothing more.

It would be entertaining to watch if the Americans run for their lives to Mexico with all of their guns trying to escape potential nuclear war. The Mexicans wouldn't know what to do, karma is a bitch. How would they like to be invaded by refugees.

I wouldn't bug out to Mexico, and I don't recommend that you do so either.

But I like Mexico, it's a huge and diverse country. In fact, it's like a number of countries placed inside one border. It's a very different place depending on who you are, fresa, cholo, pijo, guero, etc.

Mexico is a great place to learn Spanish, and if you do speak the language, the entire landscape changes in a good way.

If you are part of the community, and family, things are different for you than they are if you are some foreigner just passing through.
While Mexicans don't generally appreciate American rah-rah jingoism, they know America, they have family living there,. or they themselves lived there, while Americans and Mexicans having been mixing along the border for hundreds of years. If you are a known and liked part of the community that you live in there, you will likely be as secure as anyone else in that community.

Mexico is a Criminal state, even the cops are totally corrupt and pull cars over all of the time to get their FEES.

When I was doing some medical rotations in Juarez, I used to hop the border in El Paso on my bike because it was too dangerous to drive. One day I heard shooting and I recognized it as AK fire. Driving on my bike towards the border, I went by an outdoor cafe and there were bodies shot too pieces all over the outdoor tables; I beat it fast to the US border and never went back to the "Meat Grinder".

What happens to gringos in Mexico is, they get kidnapped and held for ransom from relatives in the USA.

Mexican gangs are absolutely crazy insane, they even torture their own members.
