"Wings" is a term used to describe their vehicle for travel.

Those things that look like "wings" on the back
could be a vehicle tech
that embodies the individual,
creates an enclosure
that helps travel then detaches from body.

I don't belive I've ever heard about an Angel with only 1 set of wings in any biblical account.

And "Beautiful" would not be the first thought that comes to mind in an encounter. People are typicaly griped with fear at the sight of all those rows of eyes and wings. Which is why Angels are quick to tell man not to fear them.

If we know anything about the bible, it is that everything is largely metaphorical. An angel is just a metaphorical construct for the astral body of consciousness. A solid object representing the exact metaphorical physical description is obviously a construct of man.

surviving a traumatic event as the ones coming up.
The first panel, then, (with the discovery of the new
"MINER'S ANGEL") tells us a deeper part of survival.
