I'm sure you are right but would it really be Ukrainians piloting those aircraft or "contractors"? The planes will probably be a bit too late as you say. This is an interesting time. I was a 19D and our old platoon SGT. told us when the Russians poured mass armor formations through the fulda gap we would go ahead of our Tanks to observe the tactical nukes being used in their armor advance as our last vision before we became a pile of ash. It was so crazy back then but everyone was giddy. We were idiots I think.
