Get rid of the internet router in your house and the connection. I did it's the best thing I ever did, aside from never getting involved in having a smartphone and phone culture. I use free wifi in the ether, you might have it to. It goes off at night, and back on in the morning. I sleep much better now, the other night I slept a full 6 hours strait.

I also find having clean teeth and washing up before bed helps, as well as a nice clean bed. A temperature of 63 degrees is optimal for sleep in winter, about 68 in summer.

Get off the net before bed and do an old fashioned activity like reading a book or doing a jigsaw puzzle. You'll get super sleepy.

In 2022, most of the year I had trouble sleeping past 7 am. Most days I was awake at 6:30, no matter what time I went to bed. After I got my hernia fixed, my sleep went back to normal.

I sleep 2-3 hours and wake up, or I'm awake until 1:30am or later, then get woke up every morning at 4am by the mail trucks that moved in across the road. They come screaming in with stereos blasting, stand out there yelling to each other, warm up the trucks, and go screaming out one by one.

I never dream because I never get into REM. If I want to dream I slap on a nicotine patch and leave the tv on. Then it's like a movie and I'm in it, but it's more tiring than just trying to sleep.

This goes on until one evening around 8pm I'll pass out in my chair. Then wake up around 1am, maybe back to sleep by 2:30am, then the mail trucks start at 4am. Have barely slept past 4am since they moved in three years ago. Those guys are a$$hoes.

But once a week I might get five hours sleeping straight through.

I'd tell you about my chats with them but I'm too tired to type it out. ..and it's a rant.

Yes, this week and last. Ive been up til 5am, or waking up at 4am after falling asleep at midnight. Driving me nuts. I can’t operate like this.

FTR I sleep with an eye mask, ear plugs, black out curtains, occasionally a weighted blanket. I also track my sleep stages/duration. I sound totally crazy right now! lol but I consider good sleep a part of good health and I take my health seriously. Sleep disturbances irritate me to no end.

He is picking some local service... municipal or business.
If you aren't in a area with free wifi you wont have any.
In case you need soecial gain antennas that can catch more distant signals.

Re: Who has had problems with sleep or short intermittent sleep lately?
Haven't had a decent night's sleep only because motion alarm keeps going off. Have to leave it on only because people continuously keep having their vehicles stolen. I got so used to the alarm sounding that I stopped paying attention to it. A week ago someone got into our truck was in it almost 30 minutes trying to start it before he gave up. My batteries were dead. Good thing they were dead. So everyone cameras go off I have to wake up. This is like the 4th time they've tried to steal it.

Re: Who has had problems with sleep or short intermittent sleep lately?
Same no sleep. Never had problems before until about April of this past year up until now.

Also having "hypnotic jerks" right before I fall asleep like when you feel like you're falling off a cliff and jerk awake really quick while inhaling deeply in a panic. It's so surprising and upsetting - almost painful in a way.

Anyone else have this too?

THANK GOD for indica edibles though. The only thing that helps me get any sleep lately.

My neighbors used to have two dogs in a fenced area, if the the dogs weren't barking when they came home, they shook the fence until they started barking.

I can't tune out, too many druggies cruising around working for Spot n Steal.
