When is tearing down statues a good idea?

I'm watching this video (Linked Below) and got me thinking.

Do you recall when ISIS or some similar group was destroying
"antiquity" in Syria and surrounding regions?

Our media lead us to believe this was shocking an so wrong.
I'll admit, in my ignorance, I thought bad Islam, bad.
Destroying ancient art.

But, what if a pagan statue is erected in your town?
What is pagan?
It's a broad range of "religion" including witchcraft.
Baal, Baphomet, and the gang.
Would you maybe, just maybe, want to tear that down?

I'm sure you know of various "satan" statues in the USA.
More and more are going up, up, up!

Right-under-our-noses.

But then again, Washington D.C. is pagan as hell.
Quite literally.

Denver and the Denver Airport with a scary blue horse to greet you.

And it makes me wonder.

The Confederate Statues.
I'm a Civil War buff, so I want them up.
I was born a Yankee, and didn't understand Robert E. Lee
Why tear him down?
"He's not a pagan devil statue...is he?"
Now, I'm a Johnny Reb, down in the deep south.
And them Yankees up there, in New York and New England especially
Why, I tell ya...
The racism is MUCH worse up there, than down here.
And the south had every right to fight.
What else, do you do, when your back, is up-against-the wall?
