Apparently my O2 level was so low so long, prior to hospital, that my legs atrophied badly. that is why you have to get on Ivermectin the first 24 hours Everybody in America should have some in their medicine cabinet |

Quoting: Silverback I was in ICU for nearly two weeks in September 21. That hospital gave me everything that was thought to help, including Remdesivir. I had a bright red DNR bracelet that they changed to DNI, Do Not Intubate. When admitted my O2 level was 54. The ER nurse was visibly stressed. The Remdesivir caused kidney stones a few months out of the hospital. Painful to say the least. I fully support everything they did for me. If I were the doctor I would have said "if we get to kidney problems that will be the up side" Careful what you wish for wow How old are you and why did you have a DNR bracelet? Did you authorize DNR? My husband, 72, passed away Oct 21 after remdesivir/vent. Found out from his records later he had DNR on his file, unauthorized. I regret to this day not getting him out of there. I tried, even contacted attorneys at the time for help in getting him out, no help. Of course, drs think they're gods and what they say goes. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 85179576 United States 02/01/2023 02:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You bet I will. Calling out Leigh Dundas! If you can’t be there they are supposed to have a patient advocate by law most places. And you can communicate with that patient advocate. I know everybody is anti-ventilator here. And maybe it was killing people with Covid-19. However, they put you on the ventilator when your oxygen is so low that you will probably die because you can’t breathe on your own. So, in the case of a 90 year old especially it was probably warranted. The remdesivir is awful though. And if you are medical decision maker and they ignored you telling them not to administer then be ready to sue. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 85179093 |
