just pull a bag out of the trash from any fast food restaurant, they got to throw everything away if it hasn't sold after 15 minutes, it's full of goddamn perfectly good food that took a tremendous amount of work to produce.

every business is like that the US throws away enough food to feed the entire rest of the world, but why?

that food is perfectly good to eat, as is. if you cooked it it would be safe, you could freeze it.

Few here realize that the quota system was set up by the farmers themselves to stabilize the dairy industry. The free-market system in the U.S. creates a boom bust cycle that has bankrupted thousands of family farms....and then the only ones left are huge corporate farms.
