Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69037706 According to a fighter named Andrey, the assault on their positions lasted continuously for 10 hours. They with great difficulty, but withstood the attack. The fighter did not specify what losses his unit had suffered, but he admitted that many of his comrades-in-arms had been killed. Separately, the CNN interlocutor stressed that the Russian military attacked without a break, one attack after another. The Ukrainian machine gunner added that the "musicians" only fell from blood loss from their wounds and not immediately. At the same time, AK-47 automatic rifles from the intense firing heated up to the point that they could not be held and had to be changed. "We shot to the last bullet, so we used all the grenades we had. It was just me and a few guys left. We were helpless in that situation," he told the TV station. He survived that attack, but would not want to face such pressure and terror again. He called the experience "frightening and surreal," which almost drove him crazy. It baffles me why these Putin cultists would shill for murderous mercenary monsters like Wagner, commanded by a Nazi and named in honor of Hitler’s favorite composer. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84882859 F off Ukraine never to terrorize the world again. Yes, I think ultimately they will do something like that. Putin will be happy to keep the peace with his neighbors by giving them some portions, while still getting NATO off his front lawn. And of course, Belarus is a strong ally of Russia and Putin should actually be happy to give them part of the territory. It would appear that Bakhmut may now be full encircled, meaning their last big stronghold is about to fall to Russia. Not calling the timing on it, because it just gives the trolls more to troll with, but there is chatter that Bakhmut is fully encircled now with Russia owning all the roads in and out. Maybe they can crawl through some forested bit to escape. Last Edited by JustmeTX on 02/05/2023 11:26 AM Justme |

Maybe they can crawl through some forested bit to escape. Do you have a conscience? ))))) Or maybe people will decide for themselves where they want to go. I've told you a hundred times already: Crimea, Donbass are not land for Russia, they are PEOPLE. And they almost unanimously decided to go back to Russia, it's safer and more nourishing there, they belong there. It would be fair if the people of the remaining Ukraine decided for themselves where to go. Putin would not mind. But if I were Putin I would of course take all of Ukraine as in the USSR. Why should Poland and even more so Romania get new lands as a result of Russophobia, so that it would motivate them to new feats? It would be a big mistake to give Poland and romania anything, on the contrary we should punish them harshly. i haven't figured out how yet. lol |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69513425 Russia 02/05/2023 11:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A number of sources report that today the Russian Armed Forces carried out missile strikes on AFU facilities in the Kharkiv region. One of the missiles hit the building of the Kharkiv National University of Municipal Economy on Marshal Bazhanov Street. According to photographs published on the network, it can be concluded that several floors in the eastern wing of the building were destroyed. It is worth noting that the educational institutions are closed and therefore the AFU uses them as deployment points and storage depots. It is also possible that foreign advisers or high-ranking Ukrainian officers could have been in the university. According to local residents, SBU officers promptly arrived at the building and took the situation under control. Video of the destroyed building [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)] |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 69513425 Russia 02/05/2023 11:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | British intelligence in its February 5 report on the situation in Ukraine reported that the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Bakhmut (Artemivsk) had deteriorated. As noted in the document, Russian forces continued to advance in order to encircle Bakhmut. "Routes M03 and H32, the two main access routes to the city for Ukrainian defenders, are now probably under direct fire threat as a result of the latest advances by Russian forces," British Intelligence notes. In addition, the report says that earlier the fighters of the Wagner PMC took control of another road connecting Bakhmut with Seversk. Ukrainian units remaining in Bakhmut, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has decided not to surrender, continue to be supplied only by alternative routes through rugged terrain. "Bakhmut finds itself increasingly isolated," according to a British intelligence report. Western Ukraine will be a disfunctional mess once this is over, and if they identify more closely with the Polish people then why not let Poland have that part? They cannot be on their own certainly as they will not be economically self supporting. Russia will have enough to do in rebuilding the war ravaged areas that have been hotly contested. Makes no difference to me what they do. PUtin wants them de-NAZIfied and De-Fanged. Beyond that, I don't think he cares what becomes of Western Ukraine so long as they are not threatening Russia. If it helps the peace process, maybe Putin would consider it? I don't know. If he has lost all trust in other countries, then maybe he has to take it all. I just express my opinions and observations. They are free. :) Discard them if you like. Justme |
