Who Is Your Favorite Country Singer/Songwriter?

Bluegrass and Country are not the same.

Bluegrass is using only acoustic instruments, at least supposed to, like it was in the old days.

I always liked the genuine old Bluegrass Music. I am still listening to lots of it.

Jim and Jesse, Bill Monroe the Blue Grass Boys, The Country Gentlemen, Flatt and Scruggs, The Stanley Brothers, The Lewis Family, Del Mc Coury, Osborne Brothers... I don't like the newer styles much.

Most of them now gone. Jamming up in Heaven above.

James McMurtry is the God of all gods for me when it comes to stripped down country/folk. But, I dig Gary Allan as well.
