Re: Anyone afraid to die?
I'm afraid to suffer.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84592513

Yeah the whole torment and torture, the poisoning and sicknesses and diseases. I'm not afraid of it but I'm really tired of it.

So much shit and fuckery in all the ways.

This isn't what I'm from.

i have been suffering from before i was born
within my mothers stomach, my father use to beat her stomach with coat hangers
he told me when i was about 10 that he could never love me the way he loved the bottle of whisky
i must have been an abuser in a past life to have the kind of life i had growing up with three different dads

i use to pray to have different parents and i use to say to them that they must have adopted me - i just hated them and i wanted any other life than the one that i had growing up

i am tired of the torment and torture as well - i have had extremely longstanding suffering with my family - something that Jesus said is needed

I can relate to Job and i always have a smile on and usually extremely positive

there is just so much hopelessness and pain behind my smile

Re: Anyone afraid to die?
You don't just die. Your brain dies slowly and incrementally. So tell me. What is other than the brain?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80452541

the brain is of the physical body - it is the temporal vessel

the soul is eternal

i do hope that when i go, it will be quick and painless

So expierence your soul separated from your brain. Prepare your exit from this realm. How would you do it? Meditation like yogis that rise above all this?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80452541

i have been meditating since the 80's and the soul does come out of the body

i have been preparing for a long time and have seen a lot more results in the past 13 years since i quit drinking alcohol, actually about a month after I quit, my spiritual life took a huge turn for the better

yes, longstanding suffering...

Ephesians 6:13
Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.
