We have no idea what its made of or if it is even sturdy enough to not randomly blow up. Worse, it will be passing over densely populated regions of the eastern southern seaboard later this week and then it will be too late to down it safely and you have to hope it wont pop.

Finally, no intelligence agency in their right mind would not want to get their hands on it to study it.


What sensors does it have? Who made the chips and sensors on board? What is the resolution of the equipment on board? Is the component quality military grade? Etc etc

It probably belongs to the US military and they are testing/using something attached to the balloon, or it does belong to China or a foreign power and they aren't sure if it could be a weapon filled with say for example anthrax, phentinal powder, or some bio/chemical weapon. The goal of the enemy would be for the advisary to shoot it therefore spreading the actual weapon.
