"Oh I heard about that. I think that's why our power went out and the wifi went crazy last night."

Me: "The power went out at your house too last night?"

"Yeah around 2 am and the wifi was crazy all day at school they had to fix it and all our passwords weren't saved. I think the spy balloons are messing with our wifi. And the power went out at the mall too and everything my step dad is a security guard he said it was so weird because the electric company said it wasn't out but it was out."

"There could be a lot more up there."

The wifi HAS been crazy starting last night around 10 pm and continuing this morning and the power must have gone out in the night because the clocks had reset but I never got an outage notification as per usual.

Is there something less dramatic than an EMP ... messing with the grid/commo as those things fly over?

What IF China was asked to claim it’s one of their weather balloons, simply because no one knows the true origin? Especially now there’s one possibly sighted over Costa Rica, and another over western Canada.

At 93 miles the sky would not even be blue anymore close to the stratosphere, the balloon was at approx 17 miles altitude or something

None of the (three?) confirmed balloons passed here (Southern NJ) to my knowledge ... but I have no idea the range ...

Kiddo was absolutely correct about the wifi/modem resetting and power going out, though, and she lives at least 10 miles away and the mall she talked about is 15 in the opposite directon ... her conspiracy instincts are good.

If we're not finding these things 'til some dude spots one with his iPhone ... there could be more ... the one in Costa Rica is likely an EARLIER balloon that we missed.

So weird. The track I described from the kid's house, over mine and over the mall went along route 40 along the Gloucester/Salem County line and across 47 - SouthEast - basically followed route 55.
