Where’s our f’n SPACE FORCE? Do they know a chineze balloon is in us air space?

My guess is they knew it was not and emp so theybdidnt want to reveal their defensive capabilities against high altitude/space weapons.

Also all of the fear mongering likes builds consensus from the public to take action.
