Transported as liquid chlorine, if it spills the liquid out, the ground hugging heavy chlorine gas will be devastating. A 1 mile evacuation zone is inadequate. Start at 5 miles. Unless they are very sure that a chlorine tank rupture is not happening. Jesus your right.. could be very very bad... I would evacuate 20 km zone how many cars carry the chlorine out of the hundred... not good |

It certainly seemed a bit inadequate to me considering the smoke plume is picked up on radar all the way to Beaver, PA. Which is 20 miles away. Given the scenario, I’d imagine those cars could very easily be breached. Id seen somewhere else that someone said cars 28-30 were the ones carrying chlorine.
