Re: A Muslim shampoo commercial that raises some questions...
Not just Muslims. Many cultures around the world guard their women and ensure they dress appropriately. It’s why other cultures laugh at women who dress half naked. It’s degenerate, uncivilised and far from beautiful. Why make fun of woman who isn’t showing her hair? But praise a woman who is walking on the street with shorts so high you can see her buttock cheeks? Make it make sense.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78392266

People don’t need to go to extremes. Most of the time I see women dress moderate. But she doesn’t need to be covered totally up.

Look, the commercial is admittedly cheesy and should have been reworked, but these are just simple people with a modest culture. May Allah protect them.

She looks like a PAINTED LADY,
which, in America, is what WHORES
used to be called.

Do all muslim women put on the
warpaint, like that?

Everything else is covered. So they got to highlight something.

Should have used a man for the shampoo commercial.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83962627

Might as well lol, I guess they are showing the potential?
Either way it's daft but I suppose they will get it...
Those shampoo pouches come in strips and people buy them one at a time, same all over Asia n middle east. Probably a better wat to buy as I always use too much and end up out lol!

"Muslim" is not a culture.

Islam is a TOTALITARIAN DICTATORSHIP GOVERNMENT. The government DICTATES how women dress, shampoo, sleep, are sex slaves, have jihadi babies, and are to be beaten by men

Don't get pulled into circular argument with Islamic apologists or Muslims. It's a form of asymmetrical warfare.

Islamic government considers women as chattel. Women do not have rights under Sharia LAW. That goes for clothing, and all aspects of their lives.

Just think about one single aspect about what it is they practice.

They only eat the meat of animals that have been tortured to death. Halal its what they consume and God warned about that.

Then on a global scale we have other godless people running our nation and a few others. Who all practice the very things God accursed.
This is why vetting a person for a position of authority over others is essential. Its what has brought humanity to this crossroads as we speak.

It doesn't seem simple to keep yourself bound up in hot environments. If a man over there sees a woman's hair he can't control himself?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81680631

They aren't "bound up" or wearing scarves at home around their family. Society has rules and guidelines to protect people from the exception, not the norm. The reason you lock your front door isn't because you're worried about the common man breaking in, it's the exceptional wrong doer that you're wary of.

It’s useless trying to explain. I don’t think these people have ever been abroad. Did you know many Americans don’t even own passports? It’s difficult trying to explain something to a person who has never travelled.

There is no current Islamic theocracy right now; all Muslim majority countries apply a form of secular and international law with some parts of religious text incorporated in. In most of the Muslim majority countries, nobody would really care if you wore a head covering.

They would look at you as a foreigner and accept you as a foreigner. They would treat you well and show you hospitality regardless. Depending on your definition of regular clothes they might feel sorry for you or embarrassed for you that you feel the need to sexualise yourself but they would not vocalise this. If you were a local and dressed immodestly it would be a different story. They would not be so accommodating.

Re: A Muslim shampoo commercial that raises some questions...
That was funny... and we can laugh today, but a long time ago, it was not a laughing matter. Why?

All religions began covering their womans heads as a sign of being "unavailable," or "off the market." This method of concealing ones beauty dates back to 1300 BC in Assyria. Women of all races and religions all over the world covered their heads back then and still do today- a tradition that was carried over to the new world. If a woman is in mourning for her husband, walks out in public like women in the middle east, a bride at her wedding, even in the days of Puritans and America's old west women wore bonnets. Women all over the world cover the heads. But WHY?

What if this practice could be traced back thousands of years before we even began recording it? And what the custom we laugh at today were once based in FEAR.

Did you ever wonder who this "signal" was meant for? Was it human males or a group of watcher angels who stole the prettiest human women among us and took them as wives

Makes sense - Men made women cover their heads so Angels from above could not tell their beauty. If pretty women were being abducted today by aliens, wouldn't you try to hide your wife, your mom, your daughters?
