Portugal to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine

‘Portugal confirmed it would send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, Prime Minister Antonio Costa told Diario de Noticias on Feb. 4.

The Portuguese government is also working with Germany to get parts to fix decommissioned combat vehicles, Costa said.

Portugal is reportedly preparing to give Ukraine four Leopard 2 tanks, Correio de Manha reported on Jan. 25, citing unnamed government sources.’
