It was most likely shot with a Radar guided missile and the missile hit the hanging Payload but the blast took everything down. Either way, that should have happened few days ago, when it hit west coast, not now after it scanned the whole length of the country. With this reaction time, what are the chances to intercept a salvo of Russian ICBM's and hypersonic missiles? |

It could have easily been shot down over the aleutians before it even crossed in to mainland Alaska. Or easily over the Pacific before it hit the contiguous US. This balloon was a whole lot of nothing. It's simply China playing games and the US welcoming the distraction ... but it wasn't because it was undetected. If it entered U.S. airspace undetected, then the top brass at NORAD need to be cashiered immediately. |
