OMG, and it's snowing in one city! Those poor people!

These days we never know if something is natural or manmade.

No one can predict these events in advance. Not with much certainty anyway.

I am pretty sure there was tourists, maybe working foreigners in these areas when the meag quakes struck these places.

The first devastating earthquake occured at 0417 hours. 4:17am. I assume everyone was sleeping.

I can’t imagine. It was bad enough with the first one and when everyone was trying to save people another one just as large as the first hit. My only prayer is that many were sound asleep and never knew what happened.

Are any buildings inhabitable in these areas? I would not go back into any standing building seeing how easily the others collapsed.

I second this sentiment. Whenever we have a catastrophe Brief pops up with his inappropriate posts celebrating death and destruction. Especially if they involve non-whites. I find such behavior really despicable and unfitting for this forum.
