IMPORTANT: Baric Emails: UPDATE Fusion Inhibitors p4 - these are psychopaths, tightly knit and well funded. They are coming for us!
Dear All,

I have spent much of yesterday looking at Ralph Baric's totally unredacted email releases from USRTK (US Right To Know).
The first batch was 1599 pages! [link to usrtk.org (secure)]
The second was 620 pages. [link to usrtk.org (secure)]
(I got to about p350 of the second batch before I stopped for the night.)
I feel like I am stuck in a real-life game of Deus Ex, hacking to get email snippets that lead to the culprits!!

Can I say, I think everyone should look at these?
What I did was rudimentary, to say the least.

I will provide a summary of the main points I saw in the next few posts - but in essence the emails:
- Expose Peter Daszak as a stage-manager 'string puller' trying to cover up the origins of SARS2.
- Expose NIH, who cancelled Daszak's EcoHealth grant 'for convenience', Daszak continued funding himself and was asked back by NIAID.
- Expose Daszak as well-connected to the CIA/ US Intelligence.
- Expose connections between Daszak and 'Fact Checkers' via the 'Robert Wood Johnson Foundation'.
- Mails go deeply into the 'OneHealth' agenda, looking to vax animals, surveil humanity, and the animal population esp. farm animals and farmers.
- Multiple examinations of theraputics
=> One sticks in my mind as GC-376. It fits *perfectly* in a viral protein to disable it.
=> They discuss that it was being made black-market and sold in China!
- Theraputics were systematically scanned for use vs. SARS2. Some of the best candidates were cathepsin inhibitors..
=> (!!Remember my post from 1/1/22 in the 'covid 19 news thread' - about HCQ as a cathepsin inhibitor - and HCQ needed to be re-evaluated given Omicron uses endocytosis entry?)

- The INTENTIONAL removal of the 'control' group to make searching for adverse events difficult.
- They were concerned about 'neurological issues' from covid.
- They knew about, and were concerned with, ADE from the vaccines.
- They knew about Ivm, HCQ and colchicine.
- They also kept upcoming studies on these drugs 'on the radar'
=> Presumably to get to the authors, like they did with Andrew Hill on Ivermectin (see Tess Lawrie's zoom call where he admitted UNITAID wrote conclusions!)
- Gates Foundation is all over the 'to' and 'cc' email addresses, so they would also know of the upcoming studies they needed to wreck.
- They were trying to preserve N95 masks for healthcare workers, getting public to use bandanas.
- They knew about the Pradhan paper (HIV inserts) by Feb 03, 2020.
- In one email, Baric and Shi Zhengli (bat woman) have something of an argument about a Newsweek article.
- They were warned by a retired White House Physician Dick Tubb in May,2020 that covid was an endothelial disease initiated by oxidative stress.

Ok, here goes...Drogemeyer (Director, Executive Office of the President) knew about Pradhan paper (HIV Inserts) by Feb. 3rd, 2020...

p267: [link to usrtk.org (secure)]
=======================================
Although a widely-distributed paper "Uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-CoV soike protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag", posted on the pre-print server bioRxiv last week has been withdrawn, the response to that manuscript highlights the need to determine information and data requirements as quickly as possible to better perform and validate such analyses of origin.

Dear Colleague,

Thank you for attending the COVID-19 Enhanced Disease consensus meeting hosted by CEPI and the Brighton Collaboration on March 12-13.
We would like to share with you the meeting materials. For that reason, you will receive another email with an invite to access a restricted folder in a secure SharePoint where you can access the full conference pack. After clicking on the link, the system will send you a code to your email you will be requested to insert.
Please, check your spam folder, just in case any of both communications have been sent there.
We would like to request that the materials are not shared beyond your organization to limit the chance of misinterpretations that may impact vaccine development programs.

Best regards

I think if the general public is wearing bandanas and washable, reusable personal masks (which can be made or bought) then the general public goal is met while preserving masks for HCW. My teenage son has six or seven bands as in our house. This is not a hard item to locate/find/make. I think this should be a wide recommendation for now.

One Health
Examples of long-term research needs
o Enhance capacity (people, technology, data) for sequencing with advanced analytics for unknown pathogens, and explore capabilities for distinguishing naturally- occurring pathogens from intentional.
o One Health surveillance of humans and potential sources of future spillover or ongoing exposure for this organism and future pathogens, including both evolutionary hosts (e.g., bats) and transmission hosts (e.g., heavily trafficked and farmed wildlife and domestic food and companion species), inclusive of environmental, demographic, and occupational risk factors.
o Evidence that livestock could be infected (e.g., field surveillance, genetic sequencing, receptor binding) and serve as a reservoir after the epidemic appears to be over.
o Evidence of whether farmers are infected, and whether farmers could have played a role in the origin.
o Surveillance of mixed wildlife- livestock farms for SARS-CoV-2 and other coronaviruses in Southeast Asia.
o Experimental infections to test host range for this pathogen.

Vaccines and therapeutics

Need for an end-to-end process for getting promising products to the people who need them (e.g. small biotechs may not have developed a vaccine before and may lack scale-up manufacturing and/or support for larger studies)

Research and development and evaluation efforts
Examples of short-term research needs
o Evaluate/investigate effectiveness of drugs and antivirals being developed and tried to treat COVID-19 patients.
E.g., Would it be beneficial to give IL6 receptor antibodies therapy prior to admission to the ICU; use of monoclonal antibodies.
o Clinical and bench trials to investigate less common viral inhibitors against COVID-19 such as naproxen, clarithromycin, and minocycline that that may exert effects on viral replication.
o Methods to evaluate potential complication of Antibody-Dependent Enhancement (ADE) in vaccine recipients.
o From a clinical development perspective, explore use of best animal models and their predictive value for a human vaccine.
o Capabilities to discover a therapeutic (not vaccine) for the disease, and clinical effectiveness studies to discover therapeutics, to include antiviral agents.
o Alternative models to aid decision makers in determining how to prioritize and distribute scarce, newly proven therapeutics as production ramps up. This could include identifying approaches for expanding production capacity to ensure equitable and timely distribution to populations in need.
Example of long-term research needs
o Efforts targeted at a universal coronavirus vaccine.

NIH Fired EcoHealth and then Alan Embry (of NIH/NIAID) invites Peter Daszak back in...

Importance: High
Dear All,
Just so we don’t get waylaid by this – I want to let you all know that NIH (not NIAID) wrote to us last week to abruptly terminate our R01, ‘for convenience’.

There is a Politico story about this here:
[link to www.politico.com (secure)]

And we have put out a statement here:
[link to www.ecohealthalliance.org (secure)]

My plan is to continue this work, unfunded for now, and to attend these meetings if you will all have me.
Cheers,
Peter

Thank you very much Alan,
At this moment, this means a great deal indeed. I’m very conscious of the fact that our ‘termination’ letter came directly from NIH building 1, completely bypassing NIAID, and all of the program staff at NIAID have been very supportive of our efforts
to find out more about the rationale behind it, and hopefully find ways to rescind this decision.

In the meantime I look forward to continuing to join the calls, and we are rapidly working on a new application to NIAID for coronavirus work right now.
Cheers,
Peter

Here’s what I said to the Washington Post reporter. Hope that works.
If he asks you about GoF I strongly recommend you just come back with the comments:

- Well that’s already been debated extensively and decided on by NIH
- The origin of COVID-19 doesn’t have anything to do with this because a NASEM committee and a paper in NatMed clearly show the virus has a natural origin, no evidence of manipulation

I practice lines like that and ways to get it back onto the real issue of either the importance of Remdesivir, or the massive interface in rural China (1-7 million people per year infected by bat CoVs from our serology study), or the greater issue of needing broad based drugs and vaccines. They will eventually move on to that topic... I will from now on make everything extremely clear to reporters about the way this all happens...
Cheers,
Peter

p1157: Colchicine [link to usrtk.org (secure)]
=========================================================
Colchicine is a long-established drug with anti-inflammatory prop- erties used to treat patients with Behçet’s disease or familial Mediterranean fever.

Colchicine inhibits IL-1β and its subsequent inflammatory cascade principally by blocking pyrin and (to a lesser extent) NLRP3 inflammasome activation.

Until now, there has been no data indicating that pyrin is activated upon SARS-CoV-2infection and this would appear rather unlikely.

On the other hand, NLRP3 is likely to be activated following virus entry into the cell [38–40,65,130].

Nevertheless, the inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome by colchicine has not been firmly demonstrated since in vitro it does not prevent IL-1β secretion induced by typical NLRP3 stimuli (i.e. ATP, nigericin) [202].

Five RCTs are currently under way to test the efficacy of colchicine in COVID-19 patients (NCT04322682, NCT04322565, NCT04328480, NCT04326790, NCT04350320).

Happy to take part and look forward to the discussions. I know that the WHO team are planning their deeper dive into the animal reservoir question for COVID-19 origins, and it might be good to ask a couple of questions on animal infections that are not controversial, e.g.:

1.
We have heard that there are policy measures under review to significantly reduce the wildlife trade, including closing down wildlife farms. Are there plans to test animals before they are killed, e.g. civets, raccoon dogs, bamboo rats, to see if they have had exposure to SARS-CoV-2?

2.
We realize that the bat coronaviruses with the closest relationship to SARS-CoV-2 are not the parental strain, but more like fairly distant relatives. Are there plans to do more bat sampling, and try to identify viruses that are closer to SARS-CoV-2 than those nearest viruses (RaTG13 and RmYN02)?

Cheers,
Peter

My comments on the below: Late onset adverse events are impossible to attribute to vax if no control group
AND discuss adding T-Cell epitopes in a vax?
AND they ask 'Is it safe'?

Summary of Discussions between NASEM and CAS on COVID-19, 13Oct 2020
d. If EUA is granted early, those receiving placebo will receive the vaccine, leading to challenges in interpretation late onset adverse events (Ralph's comment)

a. Comment (Stanley Perlman) about the possibility of including T cell epitopes as a component of a universal coronavirus vaccine given demonstrated cross- reactivity among recognized coronaviruses.

a. Key questions: is the candidate safe, is it effective in preventing infection/disease, and what is the duration of protection (Harvey's comments)

Note: afaik, SARS2 won't even infect bats! It has the GCC codon which bat ribosomes can't process..

Subject: Some bullets following our US-China dialogue discussion on Friday
Importance: High

Thanks for a good discussion on Friday Ben,
I fully support a continued dialog and noted, as did some of those on the call, that George Gao and others were more open in their discussion of investigations into animal reservoirs of SARS-CoV-2 — i.e. discussion about the origin.
We discussed ways we could frame a future topic that would allow us to talk about some important issues around the 'natural history' of SARS-CoV-2, that might also be comfortable for our Chinese colleagues. Here are a couple of bullets along the lines you asked me for:

1. Summary of recent findings re. the ability of SARS-CoV-2 to infect other species of animals in the lab, and in the wild, around the world
(e.g. mink farm infections Europe and US, experimental infections of ferrets & raccoon dogs, risk assessments of SARS-CoV-2 infecting bats in other countries)

2. From the natural history of the virus, what do we know about the diversity of alpha and beta CoVs in wildlife reservoirs, and in potential intermediate hosts in various countries in Asia.

3. What information can we identify from the receptor binding domain of SARS-related CoVs that might help us predictfuture potential for emergence of CoVs from other countries

I think a good strategy would be to have the US side give the opening slide deck so that we sort of set the parameters and open up some of the discussion that I'm sure would lead to interesting information. I'd be happy to help on the first 2 points, and I'm sure Ralph could talk to the 3rd point. Linda and Stanley have a great deal of knowledge and could provide supporting comments...

Cheers,
Peter
