I missed two days of work back in June of 2000 after a car crash. Missed another day when my landlord set my apartment on fire in 2009. I would have still made it to work that day if the firetruck hoses were not blocking the street preventing me from driving. Never in my life have I been paid for a day off.

I bet Vaxtards all fucked up from their Boosters are the ones calling in sick these days. Remember when they opened that HUGE can of worms saying unvaxxed should be turned away from hospitals, and we should have to pay higher insurance? Oh yeah, and they told us we should not be allowed to work.

Once mandated sick days became a law and well known many employees take advantage of it, sick or not. Every January and February when the days start anew the amount of call-offs are unreal.

Everyone uses them and at the end of the year if they know they have them again they get used.

If they could find a better employer they were free to go

I don't think I've ever taken a sick day on 20 years, aside from being out of work for a month with a broken leg and one time for a week with a blown out back.

And actually I was doing what I could from home both those times so was still clocking 20-25 hours a week.
